some people see ugly while others see beauty...it definitely is in the eye of the beholder

Yes it is. Absolutely ugliness is in the eye of the beholder. Frankly I have no idea what ugliness is.
People say that so-snd-so is ugly but I always find it hard to see that. They may not be picture perfect, but few of us are once we've left our teens and why does it matter?
The weird priority we put on looking 'attractive' is just that, weird. There are more important things to do with our lives than fret over appearance.

no; ugliness varies from century to century but there are some who 'offend' the eyes of others at any time. Such men, the Hunchback of Notre dame springs to mind...and a famous Welsh astrologer from way back.....would readily admit to being less than 'eye candy' however, ugliness in one culture can be beauty in another.. so yes, mostly it is the eye of the beholder

Yes of course, as the same with beauty. Attitude can make someone appear ugly to one when everyone else sees some one attractive. Also, different people have different taste as to what they find ugly or attractive

There is no such thing thing as ugliness,we all have different perceptions as to states of beauty but we are beautiful inside and out,we just need the right person to see it in us.

Absolutely with out a doubt. My husband, still cute, but balding and has this little beer belly starting. To me, he is the most adorable thing on earth. To someone else, sure he's a little cute, but well worn and not at all adorable. Perception is everything.
