there is no conclusive proof of any god, only books that contradict themselft, " be all we can be ", does that apply to bacteria as well?, that lives and grows, wild animals, all ruthless killers, the more they kill the more they are being all they can be, we just happen to be that lil bit smarter, far 2 much conflicting info, it all comes down to 1 persons beliefs, believe what u want, its the only thing that cannot be controlled in this sick world we live inthe ultimate point if there is 1 is to enjoy urself, learn to play the game, if u dont then u dont stand a chance

Life is meaningful for those who believe that they are born in this world to lead a useful life helping the family, friends and society. It is meaningless and burdensome for those who think that they are born just as an accident because of the union of persons of opposite sex. The ultimate point of life to opt a role model while you are growing and be a role model in your later life. If all the people thought like you, the world would not have seen miracles what we are now experiencing and enjoying. Be optimistic please! There is a purpose in your birth. Search it and realise its aim. Achieve that and feel that you are a part and parcael of that unseen power, the Almighty!

The ultimate point of life? The ultimate point of life or part of it is to learn, treat others as well or better than you treat yourself, finding as much fulfillment and joy in this life as you can in a responsible fashion. How to do that is another question. Do you find it only in pursuing your desires, or in doing so and helping others?
You've said you don't want "bible thumping" but the Bible does help, it does provide wisdom, it does provide a view of GOD, it does provide a view of salvation. It's ultimately your choice.

we are living in the matrix , God have made this life for us in which we believed at some point that its for real ! but when the after life comes , we'll find out that the life we're living right now was nothing, just a phase , and after that we will live the real life in the after life , were there will be no end , no death ! ..... in the mean time , try to convince your self just like everybody else in the world that you are born for a reason , find out what do you like best , and believe in it , because this is how the " system " is designed for you to be !

The bigger picture is the world at large and the ultimate purpose of life is whatever you decide it to be while living in the world. Looking for something outside of or beyond the world is just running away from reality.

There is no point for life.,life ends in death. There is no defnite purpose for life. You have to give a purpose for it.Those who had given purpose for life became great like,Lincoln,Hellen Keller,Gandhi.....Other normal people begin their life in an official Register and end in the same Register(register of births and deaths).
You need not believe in bible or any religion.Have you ever felt that you have come to this world with some mission?Have you taken any action to materialise it?Think and find out.

There is not ultimate point of life, it is not suppose to be, all phases in life are unique, just like every second, and what make them so unique is that all of us are condem to die, there is not a peak in life because death is not the end is a continuation. Death is how life regenerate itself.

Choice and free will.
The point of life is choice and what we do with it. I believe God is learning from us. Learning about himself and how he came to be, and maybe just like all of us, he is looking for people to be with. Like every parent out there learning and growing from the experiences of their children. But God wants us to choose, to choose to be with him. But since it is our choice his greatest gift is free will.
Not knowing all the complexity in the universe does not mean faith isn't important. Faith is the most important thing, it is the key. Faith in something bigger than ourselves.
