USA is not an empire to clarify, but whether a country is great or not, all of the countries has it's falls and it's renaissances. As you said, World History is full of emerging, growing and collapsing empires, true it is to all nations. "Every nation will experience fall someday, and will rise back like an eagle that soars to the sky." Have a nice day!
