More coller the air you live in, your nose will get easilly stuffiness.
If your meds aren't working, maybe you get NSD Nasal Septum Deviation. Air passage in your nose get smaller, so you easily have this problem. Breathing is so difficult. Surgery is the best way, to take the excessive bone.
Or maybe you get sinusitis symptom, your viscous liquid comes through with the yellowing greenish. and stinky smell. You'd better go to ENT specialist.
But there are several herbs can make your breath more easier.
Take several leafs of pepermint. Crush them. and inhale. Or you can buy Mentholatum, put a litlle bit in hot water. you inhale that vapor.
If your symptom likes above i describe, no traditional meds can cure.

Try eucalyptus oil in a vaporiser (one of those pottery things with water and eucalyptus essence in a little bowl on the top and a lighted candle underneath) that will clear up almost any congestion. Or use a vapour rub but I dont find them anything like as effective.

I know that this is going to sound weird, but when was the last time you changed your pillows?
I heard, not long ago, that people can suffer allergies from the dust mites in their pillows! Try buying some new pillows and see if that doesn't help.

If you do use a vaporizer, make sure it is a COLD mist vaporizer. I found f you put a couple of bay leaves (not basil) in the water it helps. You can get them in the spice section of any grocery store.
