what Linuxiac said plus I would get a firewall. Zonealarm is good. Ewido is also a good anti-spyware program. Last but not least, get an anti-virus program. There are free ones like avast, avg, and antivir. I'm using antvir on one machine and avast on the other, and I get no problems. (by the way, do you scans in safe mode so you don't get the insane popups. If this don't work. reformat the drive, but this time install all the security programs, or you can always goto linux. The security in that OS is tight. I like ubuntu, www.ubuntu.com. I hope that helps.

In my personal opinion, a combination of both a anti spy ware program, ideally Spy-bot, and your anti virus software usually does the trick. Spy-bot Search and Destroy is free and your free anti virus software is either grisoft AVG or avast!. I personally recommend avast! as it is very easy to use. Also I find that the avast! user functions are less restrictive than AVG. One final thing, though this is tedious but if you do a spy-bot scan after every time you use the Internet the effects of the spy/Mal ware is minimised. Scan the hard drive with Spy- bot S&D eery day and do an anti virus scan every 3 days to weed out all the trojans.

command.exe isnt that just the command prompt? Spybot and adaware are really good but of course make sure these and your antivirus are updated and scanned regularly. What is that file reference at the end of your question, what is the extension?

UTHERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM .
1st way download mozillla its free and its better than IE and it has inbuilt pop up blocker
second way get webrootspysweeper or other antispyware softwares and scan your system for spywares and adwares. If u are unable to remove them run full system scan in safe boot and remove them. one thing to take care is that after removing adwares turn of your system restore .other wise adware keeps reinstalling
third way is to reformat your hard ware.
fourth way is by using buffer zone security its available in free download center

hi, adware is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
