check http://www.wunderground.com , with a bit of searching you should find out most of what you want to know.

One note though ... Calgary is different than most of Canada, in that it does not have a "permanent" snow pack during the winter... it gets a warm wind off the mountains called a "chinook", so even though Calgary gets cold temps, ie, and snow, it frequently warms up enough to melt it, as well. It's really a rather pleasant place to winter as Canada goes.

The weather in Calgary is completely insane. I lived there for four years and in one of those years, it snowed at least once in every month. Now I'm not saying that's usual, but I am saying there is NO usual. Most winters it will get down to -30C or even -40 (which conveniently is the same for both C and F) but then overnight it can go up to +15. (Because of a warm wind called the Chinook.) In the summer, it seems to me it doesn't often get above 30C (+). It also doesn't snow (or rain) all that much, and when it does snow, it doesn't usually last very long (because of the warm spells). The saying in Calgary is "if you don't like the weather here, wait 5 minutes."

Toronto has much milder weather, rarely below -15C, but it will get hot in the summer (35). They have a bit more snow, probably from mid-December to March. (It would last and normally stay below freezing that whole period.)

I can't speak on Calgary's weather but in Toronto the weather is really hot, very humid and hazy in the summer. The temperature can reach 36'c (40'c+ with the humidity.) The winter's can be frigid but in recent year's it's been mild with almost no snow. Winter temperature's can get as low as -25'c (rare.) It normally hover's somewhere around 0'c and -15'c.
