yes use nero speed drive

thier is no reason for slow down your speed but that your drive is not reading CD's on its default speed, to do so, first take the CD-Rom driver out of your computer case, the open it, you will see the laser led which reads CDs, under it on that small chipset there is a very small screw which is the speed screw, turn it anti-clock half turn, then try your CD with this new speed.

yes and sometimes you need to do this due to the dvd_rom Sometime when you burn at maximum speed the final step cannot be done and the burn proces fail.
the first advice dont burn directily from another program(no all of them permited you to modify the speed for example picassa not)
it is preferable to burn om n the Nero separately
in the tab burn select the speed.

First go to desktop then right click at the my computer files then go to properties and then click performance and last click file system and then click CD-ROM form that you can know how to do.

u really don't need to do that just for playing that game or actually i couldn't imagine why u would like to do that at all, maybe if u would give soem more details on what u would like to accompllish
