The bikini wax isn't that bad, it's if you go for a specialist wax that the real pain begins, if you go for a brazillian for example your beautician should advise you to take 2 painkillers before getting it done.... that kinda tells you doesn't it!

Waxing can be painful, it depends on the individual practitioner and customer.
Waxing is more painful than sugaring, but cheaper.
I have a sugared Hollywood done every four weeks.
the first time was painful because I was not sure what to expect.
Drink STRONG black coffee before you go, try not to tense up and joke with the practitioner.

Well I have everything waxed... it hurts as it's being done but after it's just quite tingly and odd. It's TOTALLY WORTH IT though. I'd say do it!!

No, what is bad is the anticipation of it. I feel my shins hurt more. Just make sure you have a good beautician - if you have an inexperienced one, it can hurt.

I do my own, and I have to steal myself a little, but I don't find it too bad to be honest, but I do often take ibuprofen before hand to make sure!

you should be keen in doing that. make sure that the mixes should be tried in your arms first to make it sure it is safe. the tingling feeling should dessipetate and not scalding. make sure also that the spa you're going has license and they change disposable bed covers as to show it is sanitary.

Everyone has different degrees of pain tolerance. You won't know for certain until you get it done yourself.
