saw a question on here where another mom was upset that kids in america are wanting to buy jeans with a price tag of 129.00 for a pair of jeans that have the knees ripped maybe tell her to look for that style and price

Depends on the budget and the cut that you want.
Really expensive designer brands include 7 Jeans, Lucky Brand Jeans, and True Religion Jeans.
However, there are all kinds of jeans out there.
Jeans from The Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, and Abercrombie and Fitch are ever popular.
Really, it all depends on the budget.

same as the brands anywhere else in the world - most jeans are made by US companies or at least, sold by them so just stick to the labels you know and she will find them. If you are in England she will pay less $$s than you would pay ££s so that HAS to be a good idea. I did this a few years ago and got my (grown up) children Lee Cooper jeans for about 2/3 of what they would pay in England

Most good denim brands are actually made in italy .. so get any brand that is made in italy. The US has a wide selection of designer brands, especially in the good department stores (Saks, Neiman, Barneys, Nordstrom). Try Diesel (italian), Dsquared (italian) . . ..

It depends on your budget. For more expensive jeans with bonuses and all (eg. perky butt), get Seven for All Mankind, True Religions. If you can't buy them, then Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, things like that.
