I'm not Egyptian. I travel there now and then and they do this thing with white thread. It burns like the dickens but my skin is soft and smooth when they are done.

Not racist.....probably a compliment to Egyptian barbers. I'd like to try one.

Not racist. However, it does show a certain level of ignorance.
First of all, there is no way that ALL Egyptian barbers give "more accurate shaves" than anyone else in the entire world. Even if Egypt had THE most accurate barber, he would only be one man and his accomplishments wouldn't automatically be gifted upon all other Egyptian barbers.
Second, it is wholly naive and a bit stereotypical of a comment. Racist, no... Wholly unsupported and daft sounding, yes.

No. Egyptians are not a race so your comment cannot be seen a racist. Your comments could be bias or bigotted however, but racist - no way!!!

no I dint think that it is racism where the person means by that that he is so proud of his country and his people, it is like saying the Egyptian food is the most Delicious in the world.
