tab's (HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM)?

at the bottom of my bt-yahoo home page i have got 5 tabs, i have tried deleting them but they keep coming back. it is taking for ever to boot up, how can i get rid of them?, i am only a novice nothing to complex please. thank you.

have you tried right clicking on them and clicking close,

try this
tools...>Internet options...>"programs" tab....>press "re- set web settings" button
or try system restore if u r using win xp sp2
