What an interesting comment (not really a question). God's word clearly states that homosexual activity is an abomination and acts that defy the laws of God do indeed create death!

How ignorant can a person be?

I sincerely hope that you do not truly believe that AIDS comes from two men having sex. The union of a man and a man does not CREATE AIDS. The irus must be present in one of the two people engaged in the sexual activity in order for it to be transferred. This is true whether it's a man and a man, OR a man and a woman. The only reason why AIDS is more present in the gay community is because when this virus first started being passed around in the late 70s and early 80s, "safe sex" was not widely practiced among gay men. That's only because before AIDS, there was no reason for it. Obviously men cannot get each other pregnant, so condoms were virtually useless.

It is ignorance like yours that fuels hatred.

So you're saying that any two men together will always create Aids? And any man and woman together will always create a baby.

You're forgetting a couple of things: Infertility and, more importantly, REALITY.

My boyfriend and I are getting married in December. We'll have been together for seven years and we have absolutely no worries about Aids. I can scarcely believe that there is someone so ignorant out there who would ask such a question.

You've clearly no idea. Try thinking past your bigotry, logically and calmly and maybe you'll actually see that what you just said has made you look really, very foolish.

Well, because it is biologically impossible for man+man or woman+woman to create a baby. But it is not fair to say that the union of two people of the same sex creates death. The union between myself (female) and my partner (female) created love, and at the end of the day, what is life without love?

"One Man and One Woman"

It is taken as an article of faith by the anti-gay marriage bigots that marriage has always been between one man and one woman. That is not true. Historically, many, if not most marriages were between one man and multiple women. This is still true in parts of the world, including, although illegally, some in the Western U.S.

Trying to justify your bigotry through historical evidence works a lot better if you've actually examined the evidence. Or, at least, if no one else has examined that evidence and can contradict you.

We think the cross to bear is not for those who are gay, but those who believe in crosses in the first place.

Propogation doesn't have to mean you give birth with two sets of DNA, it means you have a child to call your own and take your morales and values and live them on. That could mean adoption, and it obviously does create life, or preserves life, when people adopt.

If you think only gay people get AIDs...it sounds like you're in the 80s.

That is really a pretty ignorant statement.

The HIV virus is spread through intimate contact and the exchange of biological fluids. This can and does happen to heterosexual and heterosexual acts alike. Ignorance of this fact is responsible for the huge growth in infection rates among women.

And if you, Mr. Heterosexual, only had sex with your female partner when you were trying to make a baby, you contributed to overpopulation of the world, and the rest of the time you were a saint....which I doubt.

My final comment is that hate will consume you from within. Please learn to love your neighbor.

Sex does not create AIDS, it is caused by the HIV virus which can be transmitted through a variety of ways, not just sex. The origins of the virus have been traced back to monkeys in Africa, it did not originate in the homosexual community.

Currently, HIV infection worldwide is most prevalent in heterosexuals with the infection rate growing the fastest in heterosexual, African American and Hispanic women.

The leading theory of the genesis of AIDS is that it has existed as a human disease for centuries, unrelated to homosexual behavior. Certain modern behaviors have triggered an increase in virulence and prevalance. Travel has allowed various strains of the virus that existed in different places to recombine and become stronger. Modern promiscuity and shared-needle usage has allowed the virus to flourish among certain populations. No human sexual behavior is capable of creating a virus (unless you want to take a metaphorical view of children, but that's another topic).

That's a very interesting theory. Unfortunately, it's a junk theory, since the union of a woman and a man can and has "created" AIDS ... or, in less unusual parlance, a sexual disease has been transmitted.

Comments? OK, you're a bigot.

Anyone can get an STD, there are a lot of different kinds. If you don't know the other person well and don't use protection, you will get it. Even women and children, not just men can get AIDS. But this isn't the point you are getting at.
