This saying helps me a lot:
" People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you'll know exactly what to do."
- Michelle Ventor

Maybe that person is just there for a season. And that season is OVER now... its time to move on dear.. Remember it as it is - a season to make u stronger and wiser :)

I'm sorry! The thing that I would suggest is that you remember is the things that you did in that relationship that made you feel good about who you are. Sometimes, most of the times, there isn't anything that could've changed the situation, but if you are proud of the way you handled yourself, then silently embrace the issue and then let it go. Go look in the mirror and find out that you did not die, so that means you are going to be here for the next one to break your heart too. Don't worry too much, I am sure that you have probably broke a heart or two also. The process just takes longer than we would like it to at times but you will soon feel happy again.

what's your question? can i help you?
well, set that person free.was your relationship a love relationship? well you really have to set him free, forgivehim, and accept that he/she's already gone and since he/she broke your heart, he/she pu you out of his/her heart already.
maybe the reason why the pain stays there is because you still hold that person there in your heart. you should let go

When you're ready to be over it you'll just know.

I've been single for 5 yrs - the last guy that i really liked was the man that ruined me for other men, and it didn't help that every guy i met after him was a bigger schmuck than he was, and made me want to be single even more.

This year, I suddenly decided that I didn't want to be single anymore, and somehow, i just felt myself opening up to the possibilities out there.

The grieving process is different for different people. You will be over it eventually. Try to keep your mind busy by doing things that keep your mind over the heartbreak.

It gets easier, promise.
