Fundamentalism is not a bad thing but Extremism is very bad & evil.
The everyday/moderate Muslims, who are in majority, never liked the extremists & voilant Muslim groups. However we have to draw a line between an extremist and a freedom fighter who is strugling against oppression.
Those who are responsible for the bomb blasts in USA, UK, India and other countries are Extremists.
While those who are struggling in Palestine, Kashmir for their rights against oppression are freedom fighters.

There is a misconception about being fundamentalist.I beleive whoever follows the fundamentals of his religion is a fundamentalist.Thatway I am proud of being fundamentalist.However if you mean to say terrorist or extremist,
Islam does not permit such activities which are going on in the world at present.

I dont think so,its just vested interests like the a few MULLAS,piliticians,generals in the army who support the Jihadi elements to further their personal goals.

I know for a fact that most do not feel that way. The extremist do not represent the majority. Most think the extremists are going to hell for what they are doing.

i think they are...you don't see any Muslims protesting against other Muslims who give Islam a bad name do you...you don't see any condemning the attacks...you always hear excuses as to why they attack rather than then saying Islamic attacks are wrong...
