What about when batsmen have to hit the ball as hard as they can to score fours or sixes and by the way if they don't, they need to run as fast as they can to go 20 m or sometimes 40m at about 4-6 seconds. And also when a bowler needs to throw the ball at an amazing speed (130 km/h on average) so that also needs effort. And if u say they get injured go to Panoptican's answer. Just imagine that Brett Lee (bowling speed - 160.7 km/h or 99 mph) or Shoaib Akhtar (bowling speed - 161.3 km/h or 100.2 mph). See that u r the one who is the most injured. So do u still say that they r complete wussies.
And by the way u just insulted my favourite sport. Cricket is the best sport in the world followed by soccer.

Energy, I'd like to see someone bowl a ball at 90mph without expending energy!
Injuries are caused by the amount of exertion, its a real man's (woman's) sport is Cricket, the wusses play Assoc. Football ;-)

You clearly know nothing about cricket! Let Shane Lee or Shoaib Akhtar bowl at you and see how you cope! I would bet a lot of money you would get injured to!
I takes a lot of energy to be at the top of your game in cricket

You are having a bubble. Fast bowlers use a hell of a lot of energy, and they don't need an Oxygen refill after every "play". And batting all day in the sun is extremely hard work, I can tell you. Both physical and mental.

Open your mind and watch a 20/20 game with someone who has played and who understands the game... then, one day when your energy is low perhaps, stand in the crease with a bat in hand and face an over fired at you by a club-level bowler... Think you'll change your mind.

you need 11 players on each team and while trying to meet a target the other team tries to prevent you from doing so. this is known as sport. to be the hunter and the hunted from the 13 century was known as sport. snooker, darts and even chess have targets to aim for, so sorry mate i agree with you, but they are sports.

You are a little biased I would say.
Probably a football supporter and it is in this sport where most of the 'wuzzies' are.
They fall over for nothing.
I would like to see the likes of wuzzie Ronaldo facing a 100mph hard ball.
