Is one of my favourite phrases.
Out of interest, what/when is the most significant instance when you seized the day?!
(Just trying to brighten up the reading on my lunch break!)

With in the period of 24 hours I decided to move across country. So from the time I thought of it, to the time I left was less than one day. Starting in Florida and 47 hours later in Portland Oregon.
That to me was literally seizing the day. Literally

'Seize the day", really means making the most of every moment, right?? Good phrase..right up there with, "live each day as if it were your last." And now that you mention it, It's been a while. Thanks for the reminder! But then again, if I really took that advice, I would NOT go to work tomorrow.

One time when my colleague was surfing the internet for an answer to one of his silly questions during lunch, I took his lunch away. It really seized my day...

the day I found out I was a Dad and never knew another blood relation before in my life that was a great day...
I was 20 years old now 40 and it was one of the best feelings
