I would be soon transfering my work there in Dubai how much would a room cost (rental in a year) the room should have its own T & B (Toilet & bathroom), im not really looking for a fancy one a modest one would do. I am even willing to have a share in the flat as long as I only one rents the room.

Why don't you contact the UAE Embassy and ask them about the cost of living there? They'll let you know. Also, look up real estate agents online and do some research.

Since you said something about wanting to share with Filipinos, I assume that you are also a Filipino. If you contact the UAE Embassy in Manilla, they can probably give you the contact information of support groups in Dubai and you can go from there. Good luck.

WELCOME TO DUBAI....im living in Dubai..Well...rent in dubai is getting expensive these days.....the city is flourishing soooo quickly......a modest room will cost as much as 20,000(twenty thousand u.a.e dirhams per year) depends on the zone also...dubai is getting bigger!!....""divide by 3.65 to see how much in american dollars""...by the way...as amal said....renting in nearby city of Sharjah is a good option......cheaper over there...:-) good luck
