There is a strong resemblance, and we know that his mother was close to the dashing Mr. Hewitt, so, yes, it is certainly quite possible that Harry is not the son of Charles. I would like to see a DNA paternity test performed to put the rumours to rest once and for all (or prove what some of us have long suspected), but, of course, that will never happen, unfortunately.

Is this an urban myth or is it true ?? Lets look at the evidence The timings are perfect for Harry to be Hewitt's son, by Diana's own admission in Andrew Morton's autobiographical book, would it be easier for the palace to cover up such a scandal than release such a story to the public? It could also be said that the palace has allowed the story to run to give Diana's image a tainted edge long after her death to create public disapproval, after all how could HRH release paternal evidence without the British public still suspicious of anything they did now anyway? Increasingly after the way the enquiry into Diana's death has been handled . Personally I hope for Harry's sake that he is not related in anyway to Hewitt, the man is slimier than a slimy thing climbing up a slimy tree. Harry knows and that's all that matters he is a man now and will shortly be serving his country in some far off land but if there is a conspiracy behind it all I wouldn't want to be stood beside him when he starts active service. Look what happen to his mother

Are you possibly suggesting that "Saint Diana of Sloane" may have had a private encounter with James Hewitt !?
I think that Diana was not as white as a lot of the media made her out to be and that Hewitt may not have been the first and most certainly not the last to have enjoyed Diana's bedroom charms, we as ordinary plebs will never know though as for sure the mandarins at Buck House would never tell
We can all make our own minds up over Harry (why don't we all call him Henry? it's his real name for gods sake!!)
I would pay good money to see the results of an independant DNA test though but I'm sure that the result would destroy the saintly image of Diana so that will never happen in my lifetime.

Hewitt could be Harry's sperm donor, but Charles is Harry's dad, and that is what matters.
Hmmm....I look nothing like my dad, does that mean my mom had an affair with the milkman??? No she did not.

it's possible but Harry really looks like Diana's brother. The Royal family would know as DNA tests are done on all of them in case of kidnap etc.

Most seem to agree that he is. I would add one thing -- Prince Harry's well-documented penchant for boozing & womanizing is more Hewitt than Windsor. (Unless one goes back to Edward VII.)
