Ironically, trade barriers are rather light compared to other countries, such as Cuba. However, tarriffs are through the roof on certain items because we have not officially given Vietnam normal trade status yet. This will happen very soon along with Vietnam's entry into the WTO. Once all this happens, we're going to see a flood of Vietnamese imports.

The US has just recently opened up trade with Vietnam. But there are many restrictions. To find out specifics, contact the state dept.

None that I know of and I have been there to check!
Just allot of Tax bureaucracy...Trade related you have to wade through!

We're full fledged economic friends now..

Who'd have thought that would ever be... but so it is.
