People are always changing intellectually and emotionally. Everyone is growing or sometime regressing in different areas at a different pace.

Because you become complacent .You forget about the treasure that you have in a loving relationship. You forget about the things that turned you on. Sex get routine, there for you feel like you may be falling out of love. So I guess that you kind of see it comming and insted of fighting to keep it warm and soothing you build walls and then its all over but the credits.

Because we fall in love of an imagine you want to see not how it is . And when we start to wake up ... and we see clear the differences we "fall out of love" . Fall out of love is ok but why we say fall in love when we fly in love ?

it is normal that after a while the chemicals that are produced in your brain when you fall in love decrease again, that way you "fall out of love", sad as it is just a chemical process.. people either break up then and look for something new exciting or they stay together as they've grown to love each other, which is a deeper feeling than being in love...

Think about it.... the first two-three months you date someone it's wonderful, blissful, and almost magical, you can't stand being away from that person. Try living with someone for 10 years, and then tell me you still love that person. Love is a LOT of work! Some people confuse lust with love, hence the 50% divorce rate. Go figure.

sweetie, I have thought about this long and hard. I've decided to be in love is a DECISION, so you can DECIDE to stay in love and make itwork no matter what or you can DECIDE to let the relationhsip go. you cant just fall out of love without even realising it, it is a decision. Just my opinion :) and I think its a good thing sometimes, its our way of getting out of a not right relationship.

Reasons like..

1.finding someone new
2.thinking the relationship is stagnant
3.branding the relationship as no challenge anymore so it bores them
4.the chemistry between the couple just turned dry
5.being definite that she's just not the one he sees spending his old life with and going to bear his children..
6.the bondage had just become way too suffocating

basically it's that simple fact of realizing and acknowledging that he's not content and he isn't growing up as a person he wishes to be and so he lets go and continues his quest somewhere else.

I think it happens when the feelings of attraction are outwieghed by negative emotions.. For example, by feelings of guilt, hurt and fear..

I think it happens because people let things slide too far. They fail to communicate honestly, to really listen to eachother, to assert themselves.

Then at some point, the lust wanes and the fog clears, to reveal something that isn't really what you'd hoped for. Something that seems more painful than pleasurable. And you don't know how to fix it.

A scientific explanation is the brain dictates what emotions to feel and falling out is one of them.

People change. There likes, dislikes. There opinions etc... When a person you love changes drastically. You sometimes no longer feel the same way about them. But this is just my opinion.
