I don't hate them, no. But I don't like it when they try and blame their massive debt on someone else, like a family member, friend, some company. There is no one forcing them to buy all that stuff, and charge it. So I don't really have sympathy for the ones who buy stuff just to keep up with the Jones' and then wind up thousands of dollars in debt, and then complain about it.

Why would I hate someone for that? I don't know their circumstances as to why they amassed the debt and I am not their judge. I had one credit card that I owed $10,000 on and I paid it off by paying more than the minimum balance and extra payments, but not everyone can or wants to do that. I may have to have credit card debt again someday, but I hope not. Credit cards or too easy to use and too hard to pay off.

I don't hate them. I just wonder how they will be able to pay it all off as their debt (and interest on it) accrues.

Currently living in the credit card capital of the world, I have heard the horror stories.

No, I hate the credit card companies who tempt 18 year-old college freshmen with free gifts and prizes when they apply. I was one of those people in credit card debt, and I doubt I would have ever gotten out of it. My husband paid off the $25,000 I owed when we got married last year. He was not happy to learn of it.

No. They're just victims of society. Buy now, pay later and all that crap!
Everyone falls for it sometime.
There's no reason to judge or hate the ones that fall prey to the media's traps.
If you're gonna hate anyone, hate the loan companies and banks that take advantage of people just because they can! Loan companies make you crawl into their office and beg for a loan, all while sticking you with a supposedly low interest rate & failing to mention that your APR is really 2% or 3% higher! Thieves!

As long as it's not someone who stole my card to amass this massive amount of debt, what's the point of hate? As long as they don't expect me to loan them money, it doesn't concern me.

Hey it is none of mine or your business unless it was you or your spouse, so let go of the hate. We have enough hate and prejudice in this world, so just let it go.
