Just got given one and everything works fine except for the sound which has no driver installed. Any ideas what drivers I need? The laptop is as bought with no modifications.

It says no playback devices.

click start/control panel
double click on the "sounds and audio devices" applet
click on "audio" tab
under "Sound playback" does it show anything under "default device"?

if all else fails, go to fry's and drop 12 dollars on a usb sound card
