everybody experiences different things. At 4 months I didn't really show. But by the 5th month, I looked like a water ballon was under my shirt. The funny thing was, I couldn't wait to start showing.Lucky for me I didn't have any nausea or vomitting,. I was on bedrest because my foot had swollen so bad, it felt like it was going to break at the ankle. One the swelling went down I was put on bedrest again because I have a incomplete cervix and the doctor is scared that I am going to go into preterm labor.Me and the baby have had a talk and decided that he will stay until I am at least 9 months lol. I just found out monday that I might have gestional diabetes. I go to the doctor every other week to check my cervix to make sure that it had not shorten or weaken any more. At time it can be fustrating, because i can't work or really go out side. At times i am glad because it is too darn hot. I am 7 months and a day and I can't wait to have my baby. Good luck with your pregnancy and take it easy.

exhausting.

I am 24 and this is my 2nd preg. Thi sone has been so different from the last. Lots of people say it's because I'm having a girl this time as opposed to the last when I had a boy.

Anyway, you tend to be very uncomfortable even if you're not very big. Like the feeling you get when you're full. You also ofcourse have to pee alot. The craving thing hasn't hit me this time around so I guess that varys with all people. Mood swings are frequent. And I'm not usually a crier but those hormones really kicked in this time around.

Well, if you're a first time mom, expect the baby to start kicking around the 5th -6th month. You'll need to watch your diet and eat only healthy diets for you and for your baby. By the 7th month, you'll know the gender of the baby if you chose to find out. And you can start asking friends and relatives who've had babies if they could lend you stuff - from cribs, to car seats, old clothes, comforters and stuff you'll need for the first 3 months. Also, I would advise you to get a book for first time moms so you'll get a better picture of what to expect - experiences vary case to case. Some women hated it, some loved it, some breezed thru it like nothing. Good luck and get as much rest as you can because once the baby comes - forget about getting 8 hours of non-stop sleep.

You can expect confrontations with the amazing strengths and flexibilities of the female body. A lot of people will also consider you prettier - it's true! But every pregnancy is quite personal even women who have been pregnant more than once will admit to that. So the best you can do is read up on sure signs that things are worrisome, other than that may that female force be with you.

I think it's going to be a girl btw.

Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

At the fourth month is when I first felt movement - just a light fluttering. My pregnancy was wonderful emotionally - but I had some health problems. I hurt my back near the beginning, so that made some times rough. The emotional rollercoaster is fun - crying jags for no reason. Just talk with your husband and make sure he understands that you may not "be yourself" sometimes, but if he is supportive and listens, you will be okay. Make sure to include him in what you are feeling - he's the one who has to run for the food when you are craving! Good luck!

it is going to start to get uncomfortable. like muscles and hips spreading and not sleeping well and things like that. there is going to be kicking inside of you. that is one of the most wonderful parts of it. but then there is also, heartburn. and then that great "i am going to be a mom" feeling. and maybe some glowing from that. start to buy diapers now. and the person above me has some great ideas for baby stuff. you may also want to go to a thrift store or the "flea market" for baby stuff. If you pick decent stuff they can wash up good and you won't spend a ton of money buying stuff new.

maybe some braxton-hicks contractions later, and then really late....the real contractions.

when you are in labor, just remember to push with your pooping muscles. those are the ones that do it, not your abdomen muscles. I made that mistake with my first one. epidurals are great and wonderful things. and please breastfeed, it is great for you and the baby. If you can, get the book, "what to expect when your expecting". it is really good. there is also, "what to expect the first year". they are pretty helpful. if you can't get them don't worry and go with your mothering instincts, they are there for a reason. good luck and congrats.

You can expect the most wonderful experience a women can have. I have 3 kids. And all my pregnancies were different. I love when they start moving around a kicking. With my first my hubby got a kick out of putting a glass of water on my huge tummy, when the baby kicked it swished all around. you are going to lose some of your energy. You might get swollen ankles, and as you get father along you will waddle and have a harder time moving around and getting up from sitting. But trust me it is all worth it.

I totally recommend the book "What to expect when you are expecting". It tells you what to expect month by month - it's a great guide book of all of the symptoms and what is ahead for you. ALL the best to you and your baby! Motherhood - it's lifechanging - it's the most rewarding and difficult job you will ever have. My babies are now 18 and 13. It's a long, long road!
God bless you!
