hi as anyone else experinced this spam,i seem to be getting quite a lot of spam since joining yahoo answers????????

If you're worried about spam you might want to hide your email address in your Answers profile. If you publish your email anywhere on the internet you're opening yourself up to people being able to send you unsolicited email.
To change your profile settings, go to "My Q & A", click on the "edit my info" link and untick the email settings tickbox.

I have always had a lot of Spam in yahoo emails. Nothing changed for me. But I guess the more things you join and use your I>D the more chance there is that you will get increased spam. However I find the spam filter in Yahoo really good at blocking it, so check you have anti-spam switched on eh. :O)

It's a coincidence. If you would have joined the Oprah Book Club, you would get have gotten a lot of spam since then too.

Spam is everywhere, especially large communities like Yahoo!
You just have to hide your email address away, never have it displayed on any webpage.
