if you have the options "insert" and "attach" when you go to compose an email, choose insert and the picture should show up in the body of the email.

If you are using Outlook express just go to compose letter then on the letters upper menu click on "insert", choose picture , then browse to the place where the picture is and press ok. I usually align it to texttop and it ends up at the bottom of my letter. There is also a button for it that looks like a little mountain and sun scene.

that depends on your email service. check if the service can support html view of the messages. if it can support, enable the feature...
