*Roll 'em......andddddddddd ACTION!*

You know what? The way I see it.......we are. We each have our own movie being filmed 24/7. And as exciting as it may be to watch yourself sleep.........the camera sometimes pans over to the other person that is awake, worrying about you. This "extra" may not be the star........but carries such a 'supporting' role that we have to wonder if our principle character would even be half of what he or she is without them.

We are all "extras" in each other's movie. We are the people that give the movie "color" and variety. Each person entering and exiting the stage has his or her purpose...........their reason.........their role to play in the lives of others. And the beauty is that it is totally unscripted. We improvise every day. We aren't sure when we are going to stumble upon another character that will alter our path, just as we never realize when we are going to bring that supporting role to life for another.

We each have our dramas in life, balanced out with our histories and comedies. But it is the "extras" that help with the rising action of our lives.......that lead us to that climactic scene......that enter into conflict with us..........while still others help us find resolutions. So it only stands to reason that if people are extras in our own movies............we are obviously the extras in theirs.

Sometimes but not often. Most times it's my movie and everyone else are the extras.

The world's a stage, or movie. It has a cast of billions and obviously not all can be the leading stars. In some scenes, we are the main attractions; while in some, we play a minor role.

Never. I create my own movie, my own reality. Read Leonard Cohen, maybe you will learn something from that book and you will not fell like extra in someone else's movie.

I thought so, but I ended up on the cutting room floor. Not even good enough to make the 'extras' for the DVD release.

I guess you feel that life is just dragging you along.
Try being more proactive than reactive and it will get better.
