Why do muslims and jews, cut half the wind pipe of sheep, cows, chickens ?

The animal dies slowly, and they call the meat KOSHER or HALAL. What is the reason they do it this way ?

Answer is simple;

First of all this method of killing animals is obligatory according to both religions, so they have to do it this way.

Second, both religions required their followers to use this method because contrary to popular belief is not painful. When done right, the slaughtering takesout one of the central nerves in the animal's body. This means it will not feel any pain, the animal may seem to die more slowly than other methods but reality is there is no pain and this has been proven by many scientific tests.

Third; by slaughtering the animal, you drain out the blood from its body and this means the blood will not contaminate the corpse and cause the people eating it any diseases. In a nut shell it is healthier for those who consume the meat.

According to HALAL or KOSHER standard it is a quick slash severing the nerves and arteries at once. It is not HALAL or KOSHER if you cut the throat like sawing a wood. The former way is supposed to be painless for the animal.

they do this so that the blood is properly drained out of the animal.its not killing them slowly. there is a way of slaughtering animals for food, not just cutting the neck up in both muslims and jews. the significance of this practice is that, they wont eat meat that still have blood. animal blood is not healthy for human esp if the food is not properly cooked.

It is in the Quran and Torah. Their holy books force them to butcher animals that way. Thats what sheep do. They follow.
