Make her something - a scrapbook.
Frame a picture of you guys together.
Write her some funny stories or poetry. Anything from the heart will be good.

You could go online and buy her her own star, one see could see in the sky form Australia. You could name it after her.
What about a gold bangle which you could have engraved with a special message like "Always friends"? You'd have time to get that done.
Also you could get her some phone cards and really nice writing paper so she can keep in touch.
My friend wrote a series of notes to me when I flew to Oz, I had to open them at different stages of the flight. E.G "Open this one on take off". It was very emotional and I will keep the letters for ever.
Hope this helps!

I would get her a silver locket (depends how close the two of you are!) or a necklace or two hearts, so that you can keep one and she can keep the other. Or if this sounds too cheesy **grin** you could opt to get her a really stunning silver/gold locket (as £120 is plenty of money!) and put photographs of the two of you together inside or sumthing that she cares deeply about? I hoep this helps :) xx

I just got my freind a 30th present from swaroski crystals really beautiful selection and cost about £150 but cheaper options also, she loved it. Another option is to do something really individual like a life story book of your friendship, photos, memories etc then she can alsways look back on it when you are apart.

A small book from handmade paper [you know, the ones that look old] would do. You should try writing some of your thoughts and feelings in it and you could also make some other mutual friends write what they think of her leaving. It is something she will definately keep forever.

How about a really nice watch or some beautiful piece of jewelry which she can keep and pass on to her children/grandchildren.

Another idea, you could create a scrape-book of memories, to remind her of all the fun things you have done, including photos, postcards etc.

- Musicbox which plays her favorite songs. You can try search on ebay.

- Build-a-bear. You can record your own voice. When she squeeze the bear's right leg, she can hear your voice! Check out build-a-bear website and look for store location.

- Should make a photo alum and write your feeling/descrption next to each pictures. Will be sweet. She will keep it and look at it.

- Not recommand necklace/bracklet/handbags. Girls change them frequently.

i like the make a scrapbook idea - its sweet

also, you could name her a star, i got one for my friend who moved away - that way we could both look up and know that even if we were miles away from each other we would still be under the same sky and that the star would be there for us both to see. (plus it lasts about a billion years!)
quite original

get her something like a cuff bracelet from Tiffany. Have it engraved with a personal message from you. If you have lots of pictures of you together then make up a scrap book of memories for her.
