That doesn't matter, what matters is what you do each day to keep yourself happy. It could be alone, or with people. I live alone, and work full time, I'm divorced, and prefer living alone now. But other people are happier living with a partner, or wife or husband, or roommate. I've done the wife and roommate thing, and I'm happier alone. I have to admit though, I do hire a service to come clean once a week. lol.

I think it all depends on the person and their mental status in the first place when they live alone. Some people like to live alone, while other people have no choice. Now when they have no choice this may make them become bitter and secluded from other people. But surly living alone does not mean that you are alone. So i don't know if I gave you a good enough answer.

It varies individual to individual. The main adverse effect of living alone is loss of sharing. No one shares your happiness or sadness watever your mood is. At that time you feel depressed. It affects your mood, temparament, skills, ambitions and your relationships and ultimately your mental health. As time goes on and on you'll start behaving the same as other people behave with you.You dont care others happiness and sadness. Because you were alone at that time when you really need someone. Loss of Sharing is only one but significant factor of livng alone and mental health.

Living alone can be quite difficult, because of the whole isolation factor. Unless you are someone who has people coming over all the time, you should avoid living alone.

to be quick, an individual has the need to communicate and interact with other people. when that chance/ opportunity is taken away from that people, he becomes frighterned, obsessed and usually talks to himself. A human needs others to survive. Take for instance the prehistorical times; only the "mob" survived. one alone didnt stand a chance. that primary instincts still exist to every man since then.

I don't know what stats. say, but maybe there's something to be said for living alone. My aunt is 84yrs. old and her mind is perfect. She has lived alone for over 20 years. While my mother, who is 77 years old, is confused. My mom lived alone for a short time, like 18 mos, but has never really been alone.

As long as you have things to do during the day and go out with friends, living alone is quite relaxing. I tend to have extremely busy days and coming home to a quiet place is great. Much more comfortable and no one to blame when things do not get done, it's all on you.

residing on my own without social interplay of any form (putting your self into solitary confinement) isn't a reliable decision except you're happy and extremely nicely adjusted on your individual employer. being waiting to return domicile to an empty domicile on the tip of the day and be happy with the placement isn't any huge deal. it may desire to take time to regulate, yet i come across that i like the quiet solitude. If a individual is, despite the fact that, emotionally risky interior the 1st occasion, then residing on my own is optimistic to galvanize their psychological wellness. maximum people who decide for to spend time in deep theory gain this on my own, without distraction. What greater helpful way than to stay on my own...

I am crazy now and I spent many years alone just doing research etc. Now I realize that we or at least I am a social being and any interaction makes us stronger.
Statistically I think alone means, more alcohol abuse, more drug abuse, more suicides and more negativity. And everyday, more laws to make us more alone.
