Cal's got a good football team, and it's pretty much going to be a four-way fight this year for the title (Cal, Oregon, USC, UCLA).

Take out the game against Portland State and no one can accuse the Bears of not having a tough non-conference schedule (at Tennessee and Minnesota). Oregon and UCLA have to come to Berkeley, but the Bears go to LA to play USC (with the extra game added, the Pac Ten went to 9 conference games), which appears to be their only tough road conference game (host ASU, UO, UW, UCLA, and Stanford, while visiting OSU, WSU, UA, and USC).

I think they're in the hunt all year. Don't see them running the table, but I don't think anyone will in that conference this year.

I'm just surprised Jeff Tedford decided to stick around a few more years there. They are not overlooked in the Pacific 10. They give Southern Cal a run for their money every year.

You are on point they have a great team but because the pac 10 is packed with talent they get overlooked.
