Why did they leave their American made weapons behind and escaped? Why did the leadership in Israel seek our help to press the UN to impose a ceasefire so Israel can save face after murdering more than a thousand Lebanese civilians? How come they were so helpless in inflicting ANY damage on the Lebanese resistance? Is this why we send them 5 billion dollars a year in weapons and aid???

I cannot believe this question has even been asked but I will indulge you. Firstly Isreal did not run it responded to a UN declaration for unlike the pig rapin muslims who make up hezbollah Isreal respects the international community and the Un. Now lets for a moment compare the isreali-lebbonese conflict with that of the US after sept 11.
Both were responding to terrorist attacks by attacking countries that encourage and harbour terrorism and hate. The only difference is afganistan is on the other side of the world to the US and Lebbannon is right next door to isreal. Since sept 11 the US have invaded and still ocupy Afganistan. In my mind Isreal has every right to defend itself and if that means the accidental death of so called civilians who support and harbour terrorists then so be it. As far I'm concerned the problem will only be fixed when Islam is completely shut down. Lebanon has nobody to blame but itself for it's current trouble if yousupport terrorists what do you expect. Three cheers for Isreal!!

The Israelis are NOT pigs, nor are they cowards.
I think they finally realized that diplomacy by bomb is futile. People just die and nothing gets resolved.
Israel is finally growing up as a nation. We are all looking forward to the day when the Iysraeli government can confidently work peacefully with its neighbors as a valued member of its region instead of attempting to be a tinhorn military power propped up with US arms.
And its $43 billion per year, once the loan guarantees and other aid vehicles are added in.

I didn't see any of those brave Hezbollah fighters in the open did you. It took half the world to talk Israel into leaving and they were miles into Lebanon. If you Brave boys were so big and bad why you couldn't stop them from coming into Lebanon? Why did you let them destroy the bridges, roads, and airports. Thought you would only settle for the destruction of Israel, then why did you quit. Keep fighting say no to the ceasefire. Go for it Declare all out war on Israel, please. Then we wouldn't have to hear stupid crap from stupid people like you. Hezbollah only did marginally better than General Custer. They had some survivors

you really believe that hogslop dont you? Israel wanted hezbola away from its boarder and it accomplished that goal ....what would you rather happen an entire conquering of lebanon? an expansion of the war to other countries? sounds to me like you are the one wanting to kill and israel showed some discretion and wisdom to end it when their goal was complete. And you can blame ur dear hezbolla for the civilian deaths on both sides ....do you think hezbolla cared for the civilians when they started the war with israel .... oh, i forgot to your intellectual middle east thinking hezbolla is allowed to launch missles into israel and kill and kidnap israelis but the israelis are not allowed to retaliate right? or maybe in ur infinite wizdom you have rules for how much israel can retaliate and against whom .... i see ... so what you are basically trying to convince everybody of is that you are completely detached from reality and you have the right to do anything you want to israel but if israel defends its citizens its wrong ..... i think that if you are so sure israel is cowardly and is running you should seize the opportunity to go ahead and invade israel ... or just launch some more rockets into israel and see how defeated they really are ....your argument is completely silly and illogical ... and boarderline stupid ... so do us all a favor and shut your pie hole and if you really want to convince everyone of what you are saying do like i said .... fire a few missles at israel and lets see whos defeated.

HAHAHA Go ahead and live a lie. Didnt you state that Israel was committing a crime and now your say why did they quit?They wanted peace from the start. Hezbollah started the fight and have agreed to disarm and return the soldiers they kidnapped if they don't follow through you will be argueing again because they are kicking Hezbolahs butts and innocents are getting killed because they hide behind women and children.

No country should ever underestimate the resolve of the Israelis. They know exactly what they are doing. Anyone would be stupid to stir them up. They kick butt. If you don't believe me look at thier track record. I'm not a Jew but a Christian but know that they are not cowards.

That what you get when you send solders to fight unjust war. They do not fight as good. according to Israeli reports they refused to fight. Most of them know that Israel have kidnapped Lebanese and Israel is occupying Lebanese land

If true it sounds very very odd of them to do and yes cowardly as well.
