the reason i asked this question.... i wanted to get others opinion so i could show them to the man i am in love with.... as he has been having these deep feelings and was not quite sure of them.... i thought it was because he was 'in love' with me... so thanks to everyone who gave me there opinion... and i am happy to say i am off up North to spend a week with my man....

BEING IN LOVE IS WHEN IT COMES FROM THE HEART YOULL KNOW WHEN THAT TIME IS YOU WANT TO BE WITH THEM ALL THE TIME BUT ALSO KNOW WHEN TO STEP BACK A BIT AS FOR LOVING SOMEONE ITS JUST LIKE LOVING A FRIEND OR MEMBER OF FAMILY

being in love is something your whole body and mind agrees with. when u are in love u do all kinds of things that some people look at them as being stupid.it is a natural thing that cant be denied. On the orther hand just loving someone entails being passive, there is no serious emotional attachment involved. there is an extent to which u can go to help them and above all u dont think of sex or better still what u feel for them is actually lust.

I think that being in love is romantic love. Like between a g/f and b/f or husband and wife. Loving someone is like the kind of love between friends or family members. I think that neirther is less powerful than the other, they are both different.

Being in love is a state of mind in which we do not think or behave like our normal selves. We are on a high, but chemically it doesn't last. Loving someone is the care without the same buzz as being in love.

You would know you're in love because you are sooooo nice to the people around you and you always feel on cloud 9.... You said that you wont miss him, the truth is you never stop thinking about him, it seems forever you just cant get him off your mind... ohhh I know this because I do crazy things now... am so in love with my baby Loren.

That feeling you feel when you meet someone new and you find your self falling in love with them, then over time, you love them and it would never feel as good as it did when you first met and were finding things out about each other. I thik Being in Love is more exciting rather than loving someone.

To love someone: You care for them, you do things for them, you want them to be happy but . You love your dad, mum, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, dog, cat, etc.,
Being in love with someone: Your heart yearns for them, you care for them, you don't want anyone else, you over-look any faults they may have - you want to please them, your tummy gets butterflies whenever they phone or return home, they are the ultimate one for you, they fulfill all that you want in a person, they make you feel content and you don't even notice the opposite sex anymore, their happiness is more important than your own.

i think the difference is that when you love someone you worry about them want to make everything ok for them and look out for them, when you are in love with someone you want to do all this but you think of them all the time, when you wake up when something happens you want to call and tell them and when you are alone or with a crowd you miss them and wish they were there.

i have done both but didn't know the diference till the latter.
love someone is a lot like really likeing them, but more. it is a choise you make and wonder if they are the one.
in love you have no say so. it's like someone moved into your body and you just follow what it says. you say and do things that make you wonder why!
i was married to a girl for 14 years, 2 children, and we were in love........divorce ended that.
when i met my girlfriend, i knew that she was her from the first day......and so did she. its like you have spent your whole life looking for someone who didn't have a name or face.....and there they are....
like crawling through the desert......and seeing water or something.
now i know why when ask.......you get the answer.......you will know!
my answer is if you have to ask.......you just love them.......
when you find it your question will be...

i think when you are in love, this refers to a partnership situation....you have found someone you are physically and emotionally attracted to.
loving someone is something that applies to many people in your life, not just 1 certain person. for example you love your family, but not in the same way you are in love with your partner.
