It creates a link.

I want to put a link of a logo on sdbua.org, and have it send a person to that particular site.

I accidentally gave a thumbs up to a wrong answer! All you need to do is put the image tag between the anchor tags. Here's an example:

The almost right answer put an tag in there, which has no business being there. img is a standalone tag, so all you need to do is close it with /> and you'll be good.

In HTML, itz very easy process in creating links to an object, picture/image or a text. The pictures or images can also be used as icons by just reducing the size of the picture / image.

for that, u need to know few html tags....
..n for changing a text, picture or object to link... jus use the follwing tags....

This is the sample example of creating a link to sdbua.org

It depends on which program you are using.

But if you are using dreamweaver you select the picture and then go to "Insert" and Hyperlink.

If you are in Front Page you can right click the picture and then select properties and fill in the hyperlink.

If you are in Word you can right click the picture and select "hyperlink"

If you are doing this somewhere else, I would need more specific information.
