Why dont Realmadrid do well despite having an allstar team?

I say one thing: You can buy great players but you can't buy a team. If you can't create a team, all the football stars of the World won't be enough to win sth. I don't think it's the right thing buying players who have reached the top of their career somewhere else or who have become famous somewhere else. A big club should find young, talented players and give them the chance to express themselves in the team. A mixture of those players with more experienced ones would make a very solid team and the club would create the stars, not buy other's.

The fact is that stars dont necessarily make a good team... In fact sometimes, an all-star team might perform badly as there are a lot of factors like understanding each other n respecting each others' game n style, which might sometimes not be possible coz of the status of the individual, which he doesn't wanna loose at any cost!

im a die hard fan of REAL since 2002.they had won in 2002-03,03-04. n also european champions league. they had then discarded Hierro the then captain. n dat led to their fall. with Beckham in many players had thier future in doubt like.. m.Owen,Figo etc. they were not playin like a team. but u never know wid gud signings this season they wud have a stiff competition wid Barca.remember: A TEAM OF STAR PLAYERS CANNOT BEAT A STAR TEAM

You see, sometimes having all star is kind of set back for a team, sometimes they can't get along very well.

but for Real Madrid, I think they're just not in the luck to win.
