I watched an interview with Stephen and he said that those people arent even his main group of friends and werent in high school. They casted people and Made up a group of " best friends forveer". They set up the parties and tell them who to invite and who not to and they schedule them in certain places at certain times to make drama. Ever notice in season two when kristen talan etc went to mammoth they scheduled Lauren and her friend there aswell and they didnt leave their chalet once because they didnt even really wanna be there!
