I assume you mean 'empty' the recycle bin...

Right click on it or just double click on it, if there's anything in it, one of the options will be "empty recycle bin?" click that if you're sure you never want to see that stuff ever again.

You can't delete recycle bin, dude! It like asking, how do I delete C:\ from my hard drive and still use it to load the operating system on!

But why on earth do you want to delete the Recycle Bin???

Or do you just want to remove the icon from the desktop?

Why would you want to delete the recycle bin? It is a needed program for windows. Empty it by right clicking on it and choose empty.

Or hide it... here are the instructions for hiding it..

I am sorry guys... it doesnt show all the contents
now you have to go to the following site and cut paste from there

http://www.techjunkeez.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1655

Open Notepad and cut paste following as it is without dashes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\RecycleBinOnDesktop]
"RegPath"="Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\HideDesktopIcons\\NewStartPanel"
"Text"="Show Recycle Bin icon on the desktop"
"Type"="checkbox"
"ValueName"="{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}"
"CheckedValue"=dword:00000000
"UncheckedValue"=dword:00000001
"DefaultValue"=dword:00000000
"HKeyRoot"=dword:80000001

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now save it as recyclebin.reg make sure you have extension .REG
double click on it
and select OK

Now open any folder
select [Tools],
Select [Folder Options ]
Click on [View] tab
you get all the settings.. find
[Show recycle bin on Desktop]
