Have you tried the FAM method? If not, try it!!! It's fabulous! You will be more in tuned with your body and it's completely natural.

Every morning you take your temperature with a basal body thermometer at the same time. You chart your temperatures to predict ovulation. Also you learn to read your body's signs of fertility very accurately... i.e. cervical mucous, mittleshmertz, etc. You can also naturally choose the sex of your baby this way (shettle's method). I highly recommend that you check out a book on it, it will greatly benefit you.

That said, here are my tips. Have sex very frequently. Have your partner drink 1 cup of coffee or another caffeinated beverage before intercourse to get the sperm pumped up. Have your partner avoid tight fitting underwear, hottubs, marijuana, and ejaculating any other times than when you are trying to conceive.

Start taking prenatal vitamins, eating healthy, and getting plenty of rest. If you know when you ovulate regularly, plan to have sex the week before ovulation 2-3 times a day if possible, if not, then try once before bed, and once when you wake up.

Best of luck to you. We conceived within a month of getting off of Ortho Tri Cyclen. Be patient and have fun with it!

When trying to concieve it is always a good tip to write down your dates of ovulation, this will be helpful knowing the dates you can get pregnant on.

Get healthy, eat right, and quit smoker if you are a smoker, also cut out the alcohol. A bad diet, nicotine, and alcohol all are factors that decrease your success in concieving.

Try having sex with a pillow placed below your buttocks, this elevates the vagina and most people seem to think it helps. Have sex in the missionary position. Do not have sex standing up or being ontop.

Also I would reccomend, don't go at it like a bunch of rabbits trying for a baby. It will be great fun at first but with time, if you don't concieve right away, it will get old and boring. Make love, relax, and put some romance into your trying to convieve.

If you don't concieve within 1 full year of trying for a child, they recomend going to see a fertility doctor.

I tried for 3 years, saw a fertility specialist and went on clomid then did ovulation induction where you inject pregnancy hormones and time intercourse. None of it worked and when i had all but given up i fell pregnant the old fashioned way. Go figure. I am 11 weeks.

You could try an ovulation predictor from the supermarket.

good luck

best trick or tip I have found is to use a herbal medicine available from most good herbal shops (Holland and Barratt) - called Agnus Cactus - its is a berry in a tablet form, which helps regulate your periods, and mature ovaries / eggs ready for reproducing - you need to take it for about 3 months - 18 months (AND allow yourself a few months to prepare your body with this before you try to concieve) - In a study of over 100 people with infertility problems, 70 of them fell pregnant within 3/4 months of taking this. Also, take folic acid, and encourage your partner to take multi vitamins - this will ensure both of you are 'ready' 'inside' to concieve a baby

Or you could just keep trying - using ovulation tests / temp checking - or just the random way!!!

Huh? Dear, if you don't know how to become pregnant (no tricks here , you just have intercourse), then I really wonder if you should reproduce at all! And you don't "fall pregnant" you "BECOME pregnant." The only uh, trick is to monitor your ovulation times (taking your temperature) if you have trouble becoming pregnant, or get one of thos ehome ovulation monitoring kids, but otherwise, what you are asking is like asking for a set of directions on how to go to the bathroom.

i have been trying to get pregnant for ayear and nothing has worked, iv realised the time isnt right for me, the harder you try the more stress you put on your body which does make it harder, just relax and pregnancy will come when its ready. good luck xxxxx
