You need a Non-Disclosure Agreement, a legal documents that rwill prevent others whom you disclose your invention from using or disclosing any information and that it will remain confidential. Make sure they SIGN before you give out the information.

Find a person or a company that specialize in or have a similar or related invention. If you invention will enhance or improve an invention that already exists and has a patent you can still obtain a patent for your invention, but that's down the line after you find someone to make, build, design, construct or produce your invention for you. They do this under an additional Agreement with you either to "buy your invention", agree to produce and distribute your invention taking a percentage of profits. Look on the web under Intellectual Property and do some research. But to find someone to help you with your invention you need assess demographics and determine the market for your product, who will buy it, why should or would they buy your invention; need samples or a prototype (that's where you consult the expert to assist you in producing your invention), logistics of distribution.

JFAD is the closest correct answer, and any patent you may take will cost you a lot of money, and WILL NOT protect you, unless you can defend yourself in court!
