No, it should never be closed. One solution would be to add new permanent members representing all Nations. The major problem is VETO, which America has used for her own benefits. VETO Power must not rely only on one country.

I think the UN should be dissolved. Yes it is an organization that has some power to help nations in trouble but is it effective? My answer is no. The UN is slow to react to world issues. Another stronger version would probably be more efficient in handling the world’s major issues.

For example were sanctions effective in containing Iraq prior to the Allied invasion? If so why were French business men and Russian arms dealers setting up shop in country. This of course was a blatant disregard to sanctions enacted by the UN. I could go on about it but what is the point. Lol.

Useless it dose not represent the real world population on the security council 4 out the 5 countries are from the west we need to have one country from Africa and one from south America and one from the Middle east and give the Secretary general the power to vote when there is 4 t0 4 voting

The united nations, was originally set up for a number or reasons;however it has became as corrupt as american politics .I dont believe in it/s very existence as much as i dont believe in any politician .....it/s a very broken machine
