Ok who played the best Batman in the movies? Michael Keaton? I say YES! Val Kilmer? nah! George Clooney? nah! Christian Bale? Nah!
What do YOU think? Don't say Adam West! I'm talking about the major motion picture "Batman" and the sequels, not the totally cheesy movies from the 60's.

I say Michael Keaton because you can recognize his distinct lips while wearing the batmask.
For the most emotionally effective Batman, I chose Christian Bale.

Actually Michael Keaton is the best. He really gave a big presence and personality to Batman and Bruce Wayne.
Val Kilmer and George Clooney makes Batman and Bruce Wayne like a clown.
Bale is not bad though. Hope to see more in coming sequel.

The best Batman...a tie between Keaton and Kilmer...the only flaw with Keaton for me was how weak his Bruce Wayne seemed to be for the most part...that's the one aspect in which I thought Kilmer really surpassed...giving Bale 2nd place as Wayne, 3rd place as Batman...at least the transformation was credible...it's a real shame about Clooney...he's played some dark characters, and he should have, and could have, had the script not totally sucked eggs, been the best of all

Keaton's the best, but Bale's not far behind. I actually liked Kilmer as Batman; he just played him in a bad movie. And as much as I like Clooney, he was right when he said he made Batman look gay.

Michael Keaton was good coz he started the batman saga
Val Kilmer was good for a start but never did justice to the role
George Clooney was baaaaaaaad!!
Christian Bale...pretty good...we have to wait and watch...
Although Batman Begins was the best movie till now...really impressive!!

It'll be Michael Keaton. But after watching Christian Bale.... I think both of them played the best Batman, yet different feelings of Batman.

Michael Keaton was definitely a great Batman, but I'm going to have to disagree with you. I think Christian Bale was the best Batman of all of them. BUT!... a huge part of why I think he is a great Batman has to do with Christopher Nolen and how well he made Batman Begins. The older Batman movies weren't as well made as the current one.
