Which is better depends on where you are applying to. Check their requiste whether they need a GRE or SAT.

If they accept both scores, give the one which you think your favour your application - such as whether you are in the higher percentile.

SAT is for application to college. GRE is for application to graduate school (master's and doctoral degrees). If by "give" you mean which one you should include in your application then it depends on the level of program to which you are applying. You should check their requirements, it should be on the application forms.

hey, i thought GRE wus for MS only.. u can take GRE only wen u have passed ur bachelors.. its for post grad dude.. n SAT is for admission in engg.(graduate)..

so going by this assumption, if u got lotsof cash (from dear rich dad), then u can go abroad straightaway, take ur SATs, n after that, do ur MS too.. otherwise, hang around in india for another 3/4 yrs, finish ur grand here, n then go fr an MS.. there are many universities offering twinning programs in engineering in india: 2years in india, 2 years abroad.. gets really cheap that ways..

to apply for bachelors studies abroad you need to give SAT,some of the US universities also accept ACT scores.
GRE is only for PG studies.
