Depends on the type and classification of drug.
It depends on city to city, state to state, nation to nation.
One i got stopped in Melbourne, Australia with a ounce of weed next to my drivers seat and i didnt get anything only a warning. IOf that happened in Singapore, i would surely be hanged after 24hrs.

In Malaysia it would be around 10-20 years, but drug trafficking would mean death.... Trafficking would bring death in Singapore as well.
