Simple you do not reinvent the wheel you only improve on it, so while the first mass-produced car was a Model-T today the most desirable would be a ferrari or lamborghini. And all this progress is possbile by constant feedback (even as complaints) that help you churn out better products/ services and the more customer friendly a company the better word-of-mouth generated about it and the better market for its products/ services. .

People with high involvement,search for more information before making a buying decision. They may search the web for reviews,ask friends...
While people with low involvement, are more impulsive buyer.
the level of involvement is dictated by the product itself and by the buyer as well.
for example: most of us don't get to mush involved when buying a bottle of mineral water,we may choose the first one available (this is low involvement product) while some people who have medical problem, may look to the composition of this water before buying it (high involvement person).
