Regular cleaning and dusting is suggested, even if the statue does not look dirty, to remove any surface dirt. Regular cleaning should be with water only (no cleanser). Wipe large surfaces with a damp cloth or sturdy paper towel. A gentle scrub with a soft brush, like a used toothbrush, is suggested for any carved crevaces.
