If the value of the watch is worth anything you should have it cleaned at a jewelers shop and not risk scratching the crystal. They would be able to do a much more thorough job than you could ever do.

bring it to the shop where you brought it and ask the owner to clean it for you.(it's safer that way....i don't think you'd want to spoil your watch)
If you say it's waterproof,just take a wet smooth cloth(don't take a rough one as you might scratch it)and wipe gently.

tarn-x and a soft rag and a Q-Tip

it is in a black plastic bottle and has siliver letters on it saying TARN-X for siliver and gold
