Basically the confusion arises cos we all are so used to seeing SRK as the good and all too perfect samaratian.
In KANK SRK & Rani have indulged in extra marital affair without convincing the audience of any reason to do so. Especially since both Abhishek & Priety are absolutely perfect partners respectively.
Everyone has played their characters well and the movie has its own high points unfortunately the movie does not connect with the common Indian man who still believes that there has to be a reason larger than love for a marriage to break.

Simple - if Big B was not there - another actor would have taken his place.
For me Kank is addressing a bold theme and Karan has stepped away from his usual style. But somehow Kank lack the strong pull at our emotions as K3G did... may be it was because of the humour in it....?
I wonder why you are confused. You dont say any details. Too bad.
Whatever anyone says its superb to see srk again - and I'd definitely watch it again!!

KANK is a very good story& i have seen it thrice in 2 days the action performed by sharukh khan & abhishek bachan is awesome & i don't know abt heroins

This movie sucks..... I wonder wht wud happened if Amitabh was not there!!!!!!
This movie is the clear indication of downfall of SRK and I request u all to give advise to Karan Johar to stop making movies......!!! He is nothing more than SRK's second wife now!!!
