No don't worry at all. All babies are different. I have 3 kids, and all of them did things at different ages. In fact my 2 yr old did not crawl until almost 8 1/2 months.
If you feel worried though, talk to your pediatrician. They will be able to access the baby, and if they feel it is necessary, they will send you to a specialist. But I don't think it will go that far. Believe me, the baby will crawl when he/she is ready to! :)

I'm pretty sure typical range is 6-8 months. But technically speaking, crawling isn't truly a milestone, according to physical therapists and a lot of Pediactricians. It's true that some babies will walk and never crawl at all. If you are concerned b/c there are other problems (like your baby doesn't babble, roll over, sit unassisted) then I'd definitely check with the Pediactrician. If not, I'd say just keep encouraging her to crawl by placing toys out of reach. Even get down on the floor to "model" crawling. GOOD LUCK!

My first, Sebastian now 3, never crawled or did much of anything before walking. He did not even want to sit upright by himself. At 9 months I stood him up and he grabbed the coffee table and started to walk the edge of it. He was completely walking 2 weeks later. My other, Ethan now 7 months, started doing a "military crawl" at 5 months and started crawling on hands and knees about a week ago. He has also started standing and scooting around the furniture. It just depends on the baby. Sebastian was 21 pounds by 4 months (10 lbs 3 oz at birth) and I figured it was because he was so big, but the pediatritian said it is normal for some babies. He or she will want to when they are ready.

The average age is 8 months. This does not mean you should be concerned if your baby still is not crawling by 8 months. Some babies never crawl and some babies start crawling much later.

Somewhere in the range of 6 to 8 months. They develop at differant rates and while some will tell you that not all babies crawl , it is an important step in development and helps them master l/r brain functions.

Just be patient. If your baby is not crawling by 12 months, see a specialist.

it could rather ensue every time after 5 or 6 months. My lady did no longer flow slowly until 9 months reason she hated being on her abdomen. Then she crawled for all of two weeks until now strolling. i think of it purely relies upon on the newborn.
