Why is it that all people seem to do now on this site is insult people? If you don't have the answer to their question, do not comment. People do not care if you think their question is "gross" or if their piercing is "stupid". Answer the question, or get off the site.
Has anyone else noticed the negativity on this site?

I was just wondering the same thing! "What is wrong with these people?"
And it's not just the smart @$$ed answers, it's the questions too. Most of the people with questions, gross or stupid or otherwise, are truly looking for answers. But there are others that just want to get a rise out of people.
Example:
I think it's annoying to see the same question posted 5 times when it was a bad question to begin with.

I do agree with you.
I once posted a question and got an answer with insulting comments... after that, I didn't care to visit this site up until now.

Well I haven't insulted anyone, but I do think some people post some very sick questions to get a rise out of people. The ones posting the sick questions should be the ones to get off the site.

I am very new to the web and even newer to this site, and I certainly did not come with the intention of offending anyone. I like this site. I like it that there are people who care and take it seriously and I also like it that some people come on just for points or just to be stupid or blow off steam. Kind of feels like I get a whole spectrum of responses. Or not.

i agree with your sentiments ,but this does not apply to everyone ,
and the people you talk about just say any old sh+t so that they get 2 points for answering .
the validity of answers is something that may need to be addressed ,but how can that be done fairly .
maybe you have some ideas on that ,
so far your question was a pure criticism endangering you to become part of the negativity you proclaim.

Spend some time with a group of 19 people (random group) with facility of interaction -- a party, in a train, bus, or a meeting of informal nature (free expression): you'll find variety in expressions, views, ego-projections, sense of humour, sense of friendship.......that's "socials" for you. Most of us need all that! The spice of life! Every one of us uses filters: filters that suit us, because 'good' and 'bad' is relative. You find an interesting, useful,helpful forum like this, and you'll never want to leave this!

Piercings usuially get negitive reactions, I'm a body piercer, I know this from experience.
People are negitive wherever you go, not just on here, but I will admit, its pretty bad sometimes.
Just pass by the negitivity and walk on by.

I've noticed that too...Some stupid answers that is ver abusing..but for me yahoo answers still helped me in my assignments and research tru people's opinion..
