No they should not be allowed to drive. I've seen allot of accidents caused by people on their cell. I've also almost got hit crossing the street a couple of times.

Only with a handsfree set. Here in Holland you have to have one because if you're caught not using a handfree set while phoning and driving it will cost you a fine of 140 euro. Caught a second time is 2000 euro or a prison term.
Make driving as safe as possible! Do not drink and drive or phone and drive! Says a victim of drunk driving.

While I am guilty of doing it, I think each state should ban cell phone use while driving. My state still allows it so I am in the clear for now.

First of all I am a cell phone user and I have used my phone while driving. But I do believe it should be illegal.I know we live in a hurry-up world and we all have to multi-task to much but when you are sharing that road with me,put down that phone and get your hands on the wheel and your mind on your driving,YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT,take care of your business at work.Because this IMPORTANT person wants to get home safely to her family tonight.

NO!!! I don't care if you think you're good at multitasking while driving. IMO, when you are driving that is what your focus should be on and watching out for the lunies that don't watch out for you and nothing else. Personally I think it should be made illegal in those states where it is legal. It's dangerous!
