I'm about to start a job, I'm really a second shift person, but I'm willing to work first whichi s what is immediately available. My friend and I have talked about how the mornings however go by really fast, is there any scientific evidence of any part of the day giong by the fastest to humans? I would assume because in the morning you are in tip top shape, everything seemingly goes by fastest. As I said, I'm not a morning person but i'm in debt. Should I hold out for a second shift position which seems comfortable, wake up at 2 and be @ work by 3 to be home by midnight, or should I wake up with my parents each morning, eat breakfast with them (i'm also like suicidally depressed in the mornings) but after the first breakfast look forward to a quikly passing day. I also have anxiety problems which could factor into this, and so i'm getting a predictable factory job as suggest in a previous post, what do you think? Spiritualists are good people so i'll post it here.

I think you should do what you feel more comfortable with... I had your schedule before and then changed to a mornings come in at 7pm get out at 5:45pm work 4 days a week and I could never make it to work on time... Now I decided to go third shift and love it. I still have 3 days off and can get up very late which for some reason ends up being like at 11 am now, don't know why? But back to your question I think really the time of day that goes by fastest is the morning I just wasn't able to make it to work on time. Hey, hope this helps! ♥

As we say in French, "the world belongs to ones who wake up early"
Depending on what you intend to do with your life.
If your piority is to take the most out of your day, I would suggest that you take the morning shift so that you have the end of afternoon to do other things.
If you don't feel it is important to be active and prefer to stay late in bed and take what I would call the "lazy option" take the night shift. But I would suspect that every excuse will be valid for your to wake up late and you won't do anything from your day except sleeping and working. Not my ideal day!

i SUCK at mornings, but i like it when they schedule me first shift, because it sometimes feels like it goes by quicker. but you get done at a decent enough time to enjoy the rest of the day and still be able to hang out at night!
